The program is intended for early-career discipline-based education researchers (DBERs) who are doing quantitative research to address issues of equity, inclusion, and diversity in their specific disciplines. Ideal participants will have

  • Evidence of commitment to supporting and researching DEI issues in STEM education
  • Interest in learning more quantitative methods to better address their research questions
  • Prior knowledge of basic statistical approaches (e.g., regression, ANVOA, t-tests)
  • Access to quantitative data of their own with large samples (n > 250)
  • Early-career and mid-career disciplinary-based education researchers in a STEM department
